Susan Dutta is an international dressage rider who has been in the winner’s circle for over a decade. Susan balances her riding life with being a wife and mother, and currently commutes between Germany and Florida. While her home base is South Florida, her horses live in Europe where Susan trains with Rudolf Zeilinger. Susan has three Grand Prix horses and several young horses in training and says she looks forward to continuing to develop her string of horses. Her husband, Tim, owns and operates the Dutta Corporation International Horse Transport and Susan serves as the Vice President of the company. As one of the top ranked dressage riders in the United States, Susan’s competitive highlights have included numerous wins and top placings at some of the nation’s most prestigious events in Grand Prix, Freestyle, Open and Intermediare divisions. In 2007, Susan represented the United States as a reserve rider at the Pan American Games in Brazil. Her international career has yielded her an Individual Gold, Team Gold and Team Bronze all at one event: 2002 Coupe des Ameriques in Blainville, Canada.

Top Accomplishments:
In 2009 Susan and Manette DC were in the ribbons in Florida in Intermediare 2 as well as placing in Europe in Manette DC’s first Grand Prix and freestyle. Golden Choice DC also placed in Europe. In 2008 Susan qualified Golden Choice DC for the Intermediaire National Championships. Golden Choice DC was reserve Developing Horse Champion and Currency DC was 7th. Golden Choice DC was second in the Grand Prix for the Special Division at Devon 4* CDI. In 2007 Susan rode Gumshoes DC to first place in the Grand Prix at the National Horse Show. Susan and Currency DC qualified for the World Championships in 2006. Susan and Gumshoes DC qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials
